This beautiful icebox cake dessert looks simply irresistible and has such a soft, creamy texture that it melts in your mouth.
Serves 12 | Prep. time 15 minutes | Chilling time 4–6 hours
2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9-ounce) package chocolate wafers
Chocolate curls (optional)
Beat the cream in a large mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
Add the vanilla and sugar. Combine well.
Spread the cream mixture over the chocolate wafers.
Stack the wafers one by one to make six stacks.
Turn these stacks on their edges and place them on a serving platter to make a long rectangular cake.
Spread the remaining cream on the sides and top.
Add chocolate curls on top if desired.
Refrigerate for 4–6 hours and serve chilled.
